Festive Chocolate Bark
Is there anything better than chocolate this time of year? Chocolate bark is not only fun to make but it also makes a really sweet homemade gift, especially when it’s packaged in a cute little box with tissue paper. It’s super quick to prepare and easy to customize to meet your taste and the ones of the people you love.
But this chocolate, tahini, almonds and cranberries make a DIVINE combination – so let’s make some!
- 300g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1/4 cup flaked almonds
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
Melt the baking chocolate in a heat-proof bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Cover a baking sheet with baking paper, or a silicone mat. Use a spatula to spread chocolate evenly over the center area of the baking sheet. Sprinkle the tahini over the melted chocolate and create some swirls. Sprinkle the nuts evenly over the chocolate, followed by the cranberries. Lightly use your palms to press the toppings into the chocolate. Place the pan on a flat surface in the refrigerator to harden and cool. Once the chocolate is completely hardened, use your hands to break it up.
