Homemade Strawberry Swirl Ice-cream
Ever since getting my little ice-cream maker, I will probably never buy ice-cream again! Making it at home is so much cheaper and honestly so much more delicious! You can create flavours you love – you can be experimental. And I can tell you now, making ice-cream at home results in a creamier, more delicious treat!
And this strawberry ice-cream is no exception. Creamy. Sweet. Tangy. Delicious.
- 400 ml coconut cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup diced (chopped small) fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam (plus extra for a swirl)
Add everything to an ice-cream maker and churn! Once nice and creamy, add some extra strawberry jam through – swirl it all around. Keep in the freezer. If you do not have an ice-cream maker, mix everything together well, and freeze. The ice-cream won’t be as creamy as ice-cream made in an ice-cream maker.
