Potato & Pea Curry Pies

Delicious quick and easy homemade potato & pea curry pies. A light and tasty #MeatFreeMonday recipe.


  • 1 roll store bought puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup chutney
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh garlic
  • 1 diced onion
  • 150g cooked sweet potato – diced
  • 75g frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 fresh chili (optional) – diced
  • To top – plant-based milk & sesame seeds


Add vegetable oil, onion, garlic & spices to a small frying pan. Fry until the onions are glossy and the spices are fragrant. Add in the sweet potato & peas. Fry for around 5 minutes to get the veg coated in the spices. Roll out the puff pastry and cut as desired. Spread on chutney, add a spoon of the curry mixture, cover with more pastry. Brush with plant-based milk and sprinkle on sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven (180*C) for around 20 minutes until the pastry has browned and cooked.
