Let’s keep it bee-free and cruelty-free ALWAYS! Easy Vegan Honeycomb in ONLY three ingredients!
- 200g caster sugar
- 5 tbsp golden syrup (or maple syrup)
- 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Make sure to line a large baking dish (quite deep too) with baking paper. Melt the caster sugar in the golden syrup over a high heat. Once the sugar has melted into the syrup, keep this over a high heat until you have an amber coloured caramel consistency. Turn the heat off. Add in the bicarbonate of soda and mix well. Once the mixture starts to foam, scrape it into a baking dish immediately. The mixture will bubble away in the dish but will set in about 1 hour. Break into chunks and coat in melted dark chocolate.
